Spending FoodShare Benefits

To use your QUEST card…

  • Check your balance by calling 1-877-415-5164 or looking at the bottom of your last receipt
  • Let the cashier know that you’re using your QUEST card and if you’ll be using another form of payment as well
  • Swipe the QUEST Card and enter your PIN
  • Your FoodShare benefits will be applied to the eligible items that you’ve purchased.

A Wisconsin QUEST card allows you to spend your FoodShare benefits at most grocery stores.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program

Supports pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children under five years old by providing healthy foods and nutrition information.

To learn more about eligibility and to apply, call 608-267-1111 or visit publichealthmdc.com/family/wic/. You may quality if you live in WI, are pregnant, breastfeeding or a new mother, have an infant or children under 5 years of age, currently receive Kinship Care, Food Stamps or Medicaid, including Badgercare Plus. Many working families qualify.

Madison Area Farmers’ Market Double Dollars

A program for SNAP/FoodShare users. The program offers a dollar for dollar match for all SNAP transactions up to $25 per market day. Double Dollars are available on the Northside at:
