Agenda:
- Plan next FEED Bazaar — Taste of FEED, August 8, 4:00 to 7:30 pm, at FEED.
- Promotion for event
- Finalize volunteer needs for Bazaar
Action Items:
- Prepare for more attendees than past bazaars, especially children
- Some FEED vendors will sell their wares, and some will offer free samples.
- Free beverages indoors.
- Outdoor spaces delineated with traffic cones, to include food carts, tents, picnic tables, and family activities.
- FEED representatives will monitor each kitchen space and offer tour overviews.
- Additional children’s activities can be moved indoors, as needed, such as decorating cookies in training kitchen and sidewalk games at back loading dock.
- Promote Taste of FEED as a family outing
- Northside News half page ad/story
- Post flyers in preschools, neighborhood centers, library, churches and local businesses
- Electronic postings of flyer to NEXT DOOR, Northside Discuss and NICE, as well as media contacts.
- Chris Moore, new FEED volunteer coordinator will have a volunteer sign-up ready to post online by 7/27. FOC members will ask their own contacts to fill empty roles.
