No slick ad campaigns for Giving Tuesday, just a humble ask for your support. Healthy Food for All has quietly rescued and distributed over 210,000 lbs of leftover food since our inception two years ago. Whether you see us as an anti-hunger, environmental, or food sovereignty effort (or some combination of the three), it is hard to argue with our success.
Please consider a donation to propel us into 2018 as we continue to re-imagine our food system.
Whether you're spending Thanksgiving alone, with family or with friends, if you're looking for a place to celebrate with a holiday meal, here's a great list of places opening their doors & kitchens tomorrow and Friday.
As volunteers with North/Eastside Senior Coalition trickle into FEED (Food Enterprise & Economic Development) to help prep food for free community meals tomorrow, we're feeling extra grateful for both of these #NorthsideCommunityResources.
