We run articles as space permits. We cannot run every article we receive, but we do our best to include all timely, relevant articles.
The Northside News reserves the right to edit articles for length and clarity.
All submissions are volunteer based; no pay is available. We do include bylines when appropriate.
We encourage all articles to include a corresponding photo. We cannot guarantee the photo will run with the story since photos run as space permits. Please read more about photo guidelines below.

You may ask to have a photo run either way, and we do our best to honor these requests but do not make any guarantees.

I need help with my article!
The Northside News does have volunteer writers. The sooner you inform the Northside News you would like an article, the more likely we can find a writer. We cannot guarantee we can find a writer. Volunteer writers tend to pick up stories at our staff meetings, roughly two months prior to an issue's release and are chosen solely at each writer's discretion and interest.
If you want to write the article yourself but want tips, please contact Abha at 230-1221 or email and she will help you.
